The SSL provided is a standard domain validated SSL (DV). You do not need to buy an SSL just for domain validation if you are hosting with Todhost. However, it may still be necessary to buy your own SSL which you can always implement with any web host at all.

You will need to activate your SSL certificate even after installation. You can do this in cPanel by clicking on the secure sign (padloc) that appears near your domain name and then enable auto SSL or your installed SSL. You can also enable your SSL by inserting the applicable code in your .htaccess file. Check our knowledgebase for the relevant tutorial.

In WordPress and similar content management systems, you will simply need to set the website to resolve using the https protocol. This can be done in the settings area of your website dashboard or administrator area.

No. The client area from where you configure and manage emails are already secured and will not reuire additional security certificate installation. The best and recommended way to acces your emails in secured format is to access it from the Todhost client area or always include the https prefix to your domain name when entering it in your browser.
